THE HISTORY OF MERIDIANAS SAILING SHIP
The Meridianas sailing ship is one of the most recognisable landmarks of Klaipėda, and has become a true symbol of the port city over the decades. It is one of nearly a 100 wooden sailing ships built in Finland shortly after the Second World War and handed over to the Soviet Union as part of war reparations.
